A major part of the blue manatee press mission is to create and distribute excellent children’s books that convey important, evidence-based health information for families of infants and young children in a readable, nurturing way.  

Led by a pediatrician with unique expertise in general and health literacy, we seek to redefine how such information is shared, especially in at-risk, culturally diverse populations. We welcome partnerships with public health, pediatric, and other nonprofit advocacy organizations, to help ensure that the story for all children is a happy and healthy one. A helpful tip when placing orders:

In order for us to offer you the lowest pricing and the highest quality of service, please order in carton quantity whenever possible. If you do not order carton quantities, minimum shipping charge and additional handling fees may apply. For example, most board books should be ordered in quantities of 60 copies.

For large bulk orders of 1,200 copies or more, please contact us directly for stock availability and ordering information.

Shipping rate of 14% applies to continental US only. It does not apply to orders to Hawaii, Alaska, or bulk orders of 1,200 copies or more. Please contact us for any questions.
