About the Author:
Susan Kantor worked as a graphic designer, children’s book editor, and a senior writer/editor for Girl Scouts of the USA. She leads public and private tours at the Rubin Museum of Himalayan Art, where she is a docent, and also writes children’s book reviews for Jewish Book World. She earned a B.A. in graphic design and art history from the University of North Florida. Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Susan lives in New York City.
About the Illustrator:
Erin Barker is an illustrator and designer living and working in Cincinnati, Ohio. She received her BA in Painting from Asbury University in 2011. When she isn’t drawing, painting, or making up weird characters, you can find her at blue manatee children’s bookstore talking about Harry Potter, rollerblading, musical theatre, or the X-Files. What is Soft? is her first children's book.
